Click here for more information about the CU-Boulder faculty/staff discount.

What is the Concert Card?
It’s a special discount program for CU-Boulder students that saves them up to 50% off of single tickets prices! The concert card is a punchcard with 60 increments of $1 to be used in any combination.

Who is eligible to get a Concert Card?
All current students at the University of Colorado at Boulder with a valid Buff One Card.

How much does it cost?
The concert card costs $30 and has a value of $60 worth of tickets (saving you up to 50%).

What is it valid for?
Artist Series, CU Opera, and some special events (subject to ticket availability).

How do I get one?
Concert cards can be acquired by two methods:
• Online student registration – CU students have the option to purchase up to 4 concert cards in the “student opportunities” step during registration. To pick up a card purchased this way, just stop by the CU Presents Box Office with your Buff One card.
• At the CU Presents Box Office – Come in person to the CU Presents Box Office (just inside the West entrance of the University Club Building) with your Buff One Card. We are open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Concert cards can be purchased with cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, gift certificate or Departmental IN.

How do I get tickets with it?
To purchase tickets with your concert card, bring it to the CU Presents Box Office any time Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Our staff will help you select tickets (the concert card can be used to purchase any combination of tickets in any seating area). Although the primary concert card user must be a CU student, you are welcome to purchase companion tickets for friends and family who are not at CU. Questions? Call us at 303-492-8008 before stopping by.

When are they on sale and when are they valid?
Concert cards go on sale the Monday before classes start in the fall (usually the third week in August). Concert cards are valid for fall and spring events (but not summer) in the same academic year (September to April). Sorry, concert cards can’t be carried over into the next academic year!

Are there any restrictions?
Each individual is limited to purchasing four concert cards a semester (that’s enough to see every performance in the best seats). Concert cards cannot be combined with other discounts or season tickets. Concert cards are not valid for Takacs Chamber (Sunday), Holiday Festival, Colorado Light Opera, or special College of Music concerts.

It’s very important to make sure you don’t lose your Concert Card, think of it like cash! We cannot replace lost concert cards.
