Pennsylvania Polka

Colorado Brass Quintet (CU Boulder Brass and Percussion Faculty) shares the “Pennsylvania Polka” to celebrate the start of Oktoberfest! A tradition begun in 1810 as a royal wedding celebration in Bavaria, Oktoberfest is traditionally run for several weeks in September ending on the first Sunday of October. While the Munich event will not be celebrated this year due to COVID-19, we hope this polka inspires you to grab your lederhosen and favorite beverage to toast the season!

The University of Colorado Boulder College of Music has established extensive safety protocols for rehearsal and performance during the COVID-19 pandemic. These protocols were followed during the filming of this performance.
