Visit the Colorado Shakespeare Gardens
Step into the enchanting Colorado Shakespeare Gardens, a floral tribute to the Bard’s legacy, adjacent to the 2024 Colorado Shakespeare Festival. Despite renovations in the Mary Rippon Outdoor Theatre, the gardens remain a serene prelude to your theatrical experience, featuring a knot garden inspired by traditional Elizabethan designs and a moonlight “Midsummer Night’s Dream” garden. This season, explore the Kitchen Garden, inspired by “The Merry Wives of Windsor,” and immerse yourself in a world where literature meets nature.
A virtual tour of the gardens is available anytime, and before Saturday performances, knowledgeable volunteers will be on hand to guide you through the blooms and the stories behind them.
The CSF Gardens are located directly north of the University Theatre building (Roe Green Indoor Theatre). For more information, visit the Colorado Shakespeare Gardens website.
