Shih-Han (Erika) Chiu

Shih-Han (Erika) Chiu joined the College of Music Advancement Team in August 2022. She works closely with CU staff, faculty, alums, students, and donors to build a positive stewardship and relationship with all members of our CU community.

A native of Taiwan, Shih-Han has extensive experience as a musician, educator, and art administrator. A proud CU alum with a DMA in Bassoon Performance and Pedagogy, Shih-Han has taught and performed in Asia, Europe, and the United States. She recently served as Conference Associate for the International Double Reed Society 2022 Conference at the University of Colorado Boulder. Prior to this position, she served as an executive assistant for the Asian Double Reed Association and worked as a program coordinator with several New York-based non-profit organizations. 

Outside of work, Shih-Han enjoys cooking and traveling with her husband, a professional opera singer and an alum of CU Boulder’s College of Music.
