Jordan Grantonic

An experienced chamber musician, educator, improviser, and educator, Colorado-based violinist Jordan Grantonic merges these passions through contemporary music and her work as a Teaching Artist with El Sistema Colorado. Jordan has recorded and performed with artists such as Yvette Young, Curtis Stewart, Harlem Quartet, PUBLIQuartet, Trans Siberian Orchestra, and Michael Bublé. Jordan is the violinist of the Boulder Altitude Directive, and regularly performs with the Boulder Chamber Orchestra and Boulder Philharmonic. Jordan’s past mentors include Dr. Joseph Kromholz, Michael Strauss, Irina Muresanu, and former Takács Quartet violinist Karòly Schranz. Jordan is currently pursuing an Artist Diploma at the University of Colorado Boulder under the guidance of violinist Alex Gonzalez. In her spare time, Jordan can be found running up a mountain or bothering her two cats.
