Shelly Gaza

SHELLY GAZA is excited to be returning to CSF this season as a director, having previously been a member of the acting company in 2017 (Kate in The Taming of the Shrew and Calpurnia in Julius Caesar). Her other acting credits include the Utah and Alabama Shakespeare Festivals, and the JET and Hillberry Repertory theatres in Michigan. Her directing credits include the Candlelight Dinner Playhouse, Phamaly Theatre Company, Little Theatre of the Rockies (LTR), Backstage Theatre in Breckenridge, the University of Northern Colorado, and Minnesota State University. She has also served as the speech and dialect coach for productions at the Arvada Center, LTR, and the Candlelight. Shelly is a member of Actors’ Equity Association and holds an MFA from Wayne State University, a BFA from Millikin University, a Certificate in Acting from the Moscow Art Theatre School in Russia, and is a Professor of Theatre at the University of Northern Colorado.
