Elise Collins
Elise Collins is a Colorado native who is passionate about supporting the next generation of performing artists. She earned her MBA, MA in Theatre & Performance Studies, and BFA in Theatre Performance at CU Boulder. Elise has been involved in the performing arts all across Colorado as a performer, director, teaching artist, puppeteer, arts administrator, accessibility advocate, and grant administrator. As a proud CU Buff and Boettcher Scholar, she developed a deep appreciation for the high-quality arts programming at CU Boulder.
During her time at CU, she performed in eight Colorado Shakespeare Festival shows, taught with Camp Shakespeare, and coordinated logistics for touring groups for CU Presents’ Artist Series. Her career also includes working for Colorado Creative Industries, Scenic Art Studios, the American Shakespeare Center, Affinity Arts Consulting, and CU Boulder’s Playback Theatre Ensemble.
She enjoys learning about others’ passions and connecting them with meaningful engagement opportunities. Elise uses her business acumen and privilege to empower other artists, especially folks from historically marginalized groups.
Outside of work, Elise serves on the boards of the Butterfly Effect Theatre of Colorado and the Performing Arts Academy. When she’s not at arts events, she enjoys taking walks in nature, asking life's big questions, and partner dancing.
