Chen-Wei Liao

CHEN-WEI LIAO is a New York City-based scenic designer originally from Taipei, Taiwan. She has diverse experiences in theatre, feature film, and exhibition in both Asia and the United States. Growing up in a bilingual and multi-cultural environment, she is interested in observing and creating the connection between people and space. Her recent theatre design credits include "Glass Menagerie" (Pigeonhole Company), "Three Musketeers: 1941" (Project Y Theatre Company), "Charlotte's Web" (B Street Theatre), "Lights Out! Library in the Dark" (ANDTheatre Company). Film credits include "Lovers" (YiFei He), "Freedom Shadow" (Ria Tabaccowala), "Exchange" (Coca-Cola Regal Films). She is a proud alumna of Carnegie Mellon University and National Taiwan University.
