Christine Marie Li
CHRISTINE MARIE LI (Ottone), mezzo-soprano, has been praised for her warmth and vulnerability on stage, with recent operatic performances including Hansel in Humperdinck’s "Hansel and Gretel" and Beatrice in Berlioz’s "Béatrice et Bénédict," both as part of CU Presents Digital, as well as Dorabella in "Così fan tutte" and Prince Orlofsky in "Die Fledermaus." Li workshopped the role of Alice Hobson in Tom Cipullo’s "Hobson’s Choice" as part of CU NOW, and is excited to be workshopping the role of Elizabeth Van Lew in Jake Heggie and Gene Scheer’s "Intelligence" this summer. She is currently pursuing her MM in vocal performance and pedagogy under the tutelage of John Seesholtz.
