The University Symphony Orchestra and maestro Gary Lewis celebrate Leonard Bernstein with the composer's daughter, Jamie Bernstein, narrating. The symphony will also be joined by guest artist and former New York Philharmonic Orchestra Concertmaster Glenn Dicterow. Repertoire includes Bernstein’s Overture to “Candide" and Suite from “On the Waterfront,” along with the Barber Violin Concerto. Learn more about CU Bernstein at 100 at colorado.edu/event/bernstein

Bernstein at 100 is the worldwide celebration of the 100th birthday of Leonard Bernstein, the composer, conductor, educator, musician, cultural ambassador and humanitarian. Join the CU Boulder College of Music as our ensembles, students, faculty and guests embark on a journey through Bernstein’s lifework this semester.
