Renowned 20th-century violist William Primrose is recognized for his unparalleled virtuosity. Join violist Erika Eckert and pianist Margaret McDonald for an evening of music celebrating his lyricism in a number of his song transcriptions. Special guest Abigail Nims, mezzo soprano, joins for three works Primrose recorded with mezzo soprano Marian Anderson and pianist Franz Rupp in the summer of 1941.
