College of Music visiting scholar, South Korean pianist Kyu Yeon Park, presents a recital featuring the music of 20th-century American composers. The program, a feast for the ears, includes works by Copland, Albright, Barber and the College of Music's own Carter Pann.

Pianist Kyu Yeon Park was born in South Korea. She is a professor of piano at Kunsan National University of South Korea and is currently a visiting research scholar at the University of Colorado Boulder. With degrees from Konservatorium der Stadt Wien and the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Wien, Kyu Yeon Park has performed in solo recitals and duo recitals and made orchestral appearances throughout the world, including South Korea, Japan and Europe. She is the director of the Belleza, a vice president of the Honam branch of the Piano Society of Korea, a board member of Piano Duo Association of Korea and a board member of International Piano Music Society of Korea.
