Vocal coach and pianist Mutsumi Moteki is joined by tenor Michael Hoffman—CU alumnus and winner of the 2018 Denver Lyric Opera Guild Competition for Colorado Singers—in a performance of Franz Schubert's song cycle "Die schöne Müllerin" (The Beautiful Miller's Daughter). Moteki and Hoffman, both of whom were trained at the Franz-Schubert-Institut in Austria, are delighted to share the beauty and intimacy of Schubert's songs through this story of a young miller and his unrequited love.
