Choreographed by Keith Haynes and Laura Malpass
Two MFA candidates showcase explosive modern dance and gesture-driven contemporary ballet to interrogate identity, origin stories and the fallibility of fading memory. In Keith Haynes’ bombastic group work, forms and bodies collide, representing a clash of opposing ideologies. And in Laura Malpass’ physical ruminations on loss, she explores the myths that shape our lives as bodies and memories disintegrate with age.
Ticket sell fast, but in the dynamic Charlotte York Irey Theatre, every audience member gets a front row experience to the extraordinary works of the next generation of dancers and choreographers at the CU Theatre & Dance Department.
