"If we can do this, Cupid is no longer an archer; his glory shall be ours, for we are the only love-gods."
Marriage isn't for everyone, least of all verbal sparring partners Beatrice and Benedict. But if they can be convinced to set aside their differences, each might see what their friends already know—Beatrice and Benedict are a perfect match. Based on Shakespeare's comedy "Much Ado About Nothing," "Béatrice et Bénédict" is a boisterous romance about the preposterous act of falling in love.
Sung in French with English surtitles.
"Béatrice et Bénédict" is presented by the Eklund Opera Program. CU College of Music faculty and students—often joined by guest artists—bring spine-tingling musicianship to CU's Music Theatre. With lavish scenery and costumes and the CU Symphony in the pit, it's opera of the highest order.
Save 15-20% with season tickets. Available in the Eklund Opera Series, Choice Option, or as an Add-On to any other season ticket order. Single ticket discounts available for groups (10+), seniors (65+), youth (K-12) and CU Boulder faculty, staff and students. Learn more
