Theory professor Yonatan Malin and other members of the College of Music faculty host this multimedia event along with klezmer violinist Alicia Svigals and jazz pianist Marilyn Lerner. The Yellow Ticket features a rare 1918 silent film about a young Jewish woman studying medicine in Tsarist Russia. Svigals and Lerner perform the original score live, and Malin leads a discussion about the film and cultural awareness.
