The Pendulum New Music Ensemble is joined by Boulder Altitude Directive, directed by Carter Pann, for this concert of student projects. Every month, Pendulum presents some of CU’s best performers from all departments, premiering original music of student composers and featuring a faculty or guest performance at each concert. The Pendulum New Music concert series, now in its 18th season, presents some of CU’s best performers from all departments, premiering original music of our CU composers. Pendulum takes its name from the Colorado Centennial Foucault Pendulum at CU’s Duane Physical Laboratory. The pendulum iconifies the series’ mission to swing through all aesthetic directions in the music of our time.
