Renowned pianist Pierre-Laurent Aimard, acclaimed particularly for his interpretations of music of our time, presents a lecture-recital on Rhythm in Piano Repertoire since 1900. Aimard has worked closely with leading composers such as Ligeti, Kurtág, Stockhausen, Carter and Boulez. He appears each year in the world’s major venues and with its top orchestras; his recordings have garnered numerous awards. The lecture-recital serves as keynote for the conference Rhythm in Music Since 1900.
