Faculty Tuesdays (2020)

Cheers to a new year! The first Faculty Tuesdays concert of 2020 opens with Robert Kahn's charming Serenade for Oboe, Viola and Piano. When you hear the second movement of Beethoven's Piano Trio in D Major, Op. 70, No. 1, you'll understand why this piece earned its nickname, the "Ghost" Trio. The evening will be concluded with Dohnanyi's Sextet in C Major. The unusual combination of clarinet, horn, piano, violin, viola and cello generates a quasi-orchestral sonority. Join us for a musical journey full of heart and friendship.
