We hope you’ll read along with us!

The Colorado Shakespeare Festival is excited to announce a fun way for kids to connect with Shakespeare while staying safe at home—CSF Storytime! Together, we will read Megan McDonald’s book, “Stink: Hamlet and Cheese.” Inspired by CSF’s very own Shakespeare’s Sprites, it’s about a young boy’s adventures at Shakespeare camp. CSF’s Director of Outreach, Amanda Giguere, will read one chapter at a time on video (with permission from Candlewick Press), followed by a virtual Q&A with the author. We hope you’ll read along with us, and send us your questions for Megan McDonald!

Step 1: Read With Us!

July 6 through 14: Each weekday at 11:00am MDT, we will post a video of Amanda reading one chapter from "Stink: Hamlet and Cheese." Grab your book and follow along in the video playlist below!

Step 2: Ask Questions!

As we read together, think about what questions you have for the author, Megan McDonald.
Send your questions (along with your name and age) to csfedout@colorado.edu
Deadline: 12:00pm MDT on Friday, July 17, 2020.

Step 3: Meet Megan!

Monday, July 20, at 11:00am MDT: Tune in right here to watch Megan answer YOUR questions in a virtual Q&A

All videos will be available to watch until August 21, 2020.
