Professor of Musicology Robert Shay offers a talk entitled “Forgotten Dido: The Curious Textual Legacy of Purcell’s ‘Dido and Aeneas’.” Shay offers new insights into Henry Purcell's famous opera based on his recent research. Shay's critical edition of “Dido and Aeneas” will be published by Bärenreiter later this year.
