SoundWorks is thrilled to present the opening concert of its 2023-2024 season, featuring world-renowned saxophone quartet ~Nois and the composers and performers of CFI (Composer Fellows' Initiative) from the 2023 CU NOW workshop.
SoundWorks (formerly Pendulum New Music) is a concert series and forum for the creation and performance of new and original works by CU Boulder College of Music composers, songwriters, improvisers and collaborators. Every concert features multiple world premieres by living composers and creators. Each event is eclectic and can feature anything from acoustic chamber ensembles to immersive electroacoustic works and film scores, performed by CU’s own students as well as internationally renowned guests.
