CU Boulder SoundWorks is excited to perform its March concert of the 2023-24 season. The concert will feature the Lírios Quartet, CU Boulder’s resident graduate ensemble. The quartet will be premiering new works for string quartet written by CU Boulder student composers Abby Kellems and JC Maynard.
CU Boulder SoundWorks (formerly Pendulum New Music) is a concert series and forum for the creation and performance of new and original works by CU Boulder College of Music composers, songwriters, improvisers and collaborators. Every concert features multiple world premieres by living composers and creators. Each event is eclectic and can feature anything from acoustic chamber ensembles to immersive electroacoustic works and film scores, performed by CU’s own students as well as internationally renowned guests.
