Titled “Amok Time,” this recital presents timeless themes of the human condition—featuring Gerald Finzi’s seminal 20th-century song cycle “A Young Man's Exhortation” in addition to works by Lena McLin, Margaret Bonds, Samuel Barber, Benjamin Britten, Peter Warlock and Charles Ives. The recital will conclude with a special number involving audience participation. 

Associate Professor of Voice Nicholas Perna and Associate Professor of Vocal Coaching Jeremy Reger are joined by University of Northern Colorado Assistant Professor of Voice Mandy Spivak in a duet from Barber’s opera “Vanessa.”
