Join saxophonist Sarah Hetrick and pianist Jooyeon Chang—together known as Duo Oenomel—for a special performance class with the CU Boulder saxophone studio. Celebrated for their vibrant performances and strong artistic partnership, this duo offers a deep dive into the world of chamber music and musical collaboration.
In this session, students will perform and receive individualized feedback from the duo, focusing on ensemble communication, musical interpretation and rehearsal strategies. Hetrick and Chang will also share their experience forming and sustaining a professional duo, navigating creative programming and building a shared artistic vision.
Free and open to all to observe. A valuable experience for saxophonists, pianists, chamber musicians and anyone interested in collaborative performance.
