The ATLAS Black Box Experimental Studio is located in the basement of the Roser ATLAS Center.
The Center for Media, Arts and Performance two-story, 2,700-square-foot Black Box Experimental Studio provides digital technology for interdisciplinary performances that combine traditional and experimental media of all types, with work from students, faculty and invited guest artists at the intersection of music, dance, visual art, theater, film, creative writing, new media, digital poetry, video production, digital cinema, webcasts, and interactive audio and visual performances.
In this state-of-the-art environment, students and faculty can seamlessly merge creative endeavors with the latest in digital technology. The center also houses a television production studio, located adjacent to the Black Box.Facilities open one hour before performances. Performance doors open 30 minutes before start time.
Boulder residents can catch a number of local buses to campus, including the Skip, Dash, 204, 225, Hop and Stampede.
Denver metro residents can catch the Flatiron Flyer, serving the Highway 36 corridor between Denver Union Station and the CU Boulder Campus. Longmont residents can catch the Bolt into Downtown Boulder and transfer to any of the local bus routes mentioned above to reach the CU Boulder campus.
You can ride right up to the show, as all CU Presents venues have banks of outdoor bike racks nearby. Using Google Maps for directions is easy: just type in your starting point and destination and select the bicycle symbol.

Special Note: Due to road closures on campus, please allow an additional 10-15 minutes for parking. If you're coming from North Broadway, turn left on Euclid Avenue and park at the Euclid Avenue Autopark. If you're coming from South Broadway, please turn right on 18th Street and park in Lot 204.
