No-No Boy presents an immersive multimedia concert combining original folk songs, storytelling and projected archival images to bridge a divide between art and scholarship. Emilia Halvorsen and Nashville-born songwriter Julian Saporiti have transformed years of doctoral research at Brown University into this innovative concert, all in an effort to bring this work with World War II Japanese internment camp survivors and other stories of Asian American experiences to a broader audience.
Performance date and time:
Friday, Oct. 11, 7:30 p.m.
Julian Saporiti and Emilia Halvorsen will present this concert together.
