The Revolutionists

“…a sassy, hold-on-to-your-seats theatrical adventure…” —Cincinnati Enquirer

Four fearless women lose their heads in this irreverent, female-powered comedy set during the French Revolution’s Reign of Terror. Playwright Olympe de Gouges, assassin Charlotte Corday, former queen Marie Antoinette and Haitian rebel Marianne Angelle fight for freedom, justice and sisterhood while trying to hold back the extremist insanity of 1793 Paris. It’s a true story. Or total fiction. Or a play about a play. Or a raucous resurrection…that ends in a song and a scaffold.

Presented by the CU Boulder College of Arts and Sciences Department of Theatre & Dance.

As of Oct. 5, the elevator to the Loft Theatre is working again.  Contact the Box Office at 303-492-8008 for details.
