Matthew Penn

MATT PENN has appeared with ShawChicago for many years; his most recent work includes the roles of Reverend Morrell in Candida and Anthony Anderson in Bob Scogin’s  fully staged production of The Devil’s Disciple.  Other Shaw Chicago credits include The Philanderer, You Never Can Tell, Arms and the Man, and The Doctor’s Dilemma.  Matt has had the good fortune to work all over the world at the Stratford Festival, Vancouver Shakespeare Festival, the Boarshead Pub Theatre London, and the Subaru Theatre Japan.  Other regional credits include Nebraska Rep, Milwaukee Rep, Colorado Shakespeare, Alabama Shakespeare, Illinois Shakespeare, MacCarter Theatre, Meadowbrook Theatre and Hudson Guild Theatre to name a few.  Chicago area work includes Goodman Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre (off-Broadway tour), Northlight Repertory, New American Theatre (Rockford), and The Cypress Group.
