Education and Outreach Programs for Adults

The Bard’s Book Club

CSF Education and Outreach staff host a monthly Shakespeare-themed book club on Zoom. More info on each session here.

Classics 101

Each season, CSF dramaturgs host an informal webinar series to introduce the plays we’ll produce that season. It’s a great way to learn about the historical context, production history and behind-the-scenes aspects of Shakespeare’s plays. More info.

Prologues

CSF offers a free, informal pre-show talk—called “Prologue”—45 minutes before all performances (excluding previews). Prologues include background on each play’s historical context and introduce characters, plot, themes, and more. Location and other information is shared by email with all ticketholders.

The Bard’s Backstage Pass

Two days behind-the-scenes of the Colorado Shakespeare Festival’s summer season. Includes roundtables with CSF artists, backstage tours, and more. More info on this year’s offerings here!
