Kathryn Moncrief
KATHRYN M. MONCRIEF holds a PhD in English from the University of Iowa and an MA in English and theatre from the University of Nebraska and is currently serving as professor and chair of English at Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland. She is the co-editor of Shakespeare Expressed: Page, Stage and Classroom in Early Modern Drama and Performing Pedagogy in Early Modern England: Gender, Instruction and Performance. Kathryn serves as co-editor of the Shakespeare Life and Times for the Internet Shakespeare Editions, and she has published widely on Shakespeare and performance and works as Literary Seminar Director at the Utah Shakespeare Festival. Other recent theatrical work includes dramaturgy (Chesapeake Shakespeare Theatre), textual advising and consulting (Elements Theatre Company) and acting (Nextstage and Sun Valley Shakespeare Festival).
