Kelly Riordan

KELLY RIORDAN (Giunone), mezzo-soprano, has been praised for her “exuberant honesty” onstage as well as her “beautiful vibrancy and warmth” of tone. Originally from Chicago, Riordan is currently pursuing her MM in vocal performance and pedagogy and studying under Abigail Nims. In the spring of 2020 Riordan was a finalist in the Denver Lyric Opera Guild Competition. In the past year she has performed the roles of Ursule ("Béatrice et Bénédict"), Marcellina ("Le Nozze di Figaro") and Mother Bailey ("It’s a Wonderful Life") with Eklund Opera.
