Tamarra Nelson
Tamarra Nelson is a director, actor, and the Artistic Director of Denver-based theatre company Philomela Productions. She has directed productions of "Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again." (Philomela Productions); "Phone Arts" and "Autobahn" (University of Denver); as well as various staged readings including "Dance Nation" and "Stop Kiss.” Her acting credits include “1 Night, 6 Plays” (5280 Artist Coop), “Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again.” (Philomela Productions), “#BESTYOU” (Pipedream Productions), “Savage and Limbo,” “Sylvia” (University of Denver), and “Big Love” (UC Denver). She also has a background as a teaching artist and literacy interventionist.
Tamarra serves as CSF's Outreach Assistant, as well as the tour manager for the 2020/2021 Shakespeare and Violence Prevention Tour. She holds a B.A. in Theatre and English from the University of Denver.
