The Colorado Shakespeare Festival (CSF) has announced its lineup for the 2024 season, running June 8 through Aug. 11. The season features some of William Shakespeare’s most thrilling and entertaining works – “Macbeth” and “The Merry Wives of Windsor,” as well as two original practices performances of the early true crime play “Arden of Faversham.”
The Hellems Building surrounding the Mary Rippon Outdoor Theatre will be under construction throughout 2024. While renovations continue outdoors, CSF will stage plays in the newly renovated Roe Green Theatre. Patrons will enjoy upgraded acoustics and an improved climate control system indoors. The 2024 CSF season will also feature “double-header Sundays,” when patrons can see two different shows in the same theatre on the same day.
Founded in 1958, the Colorado Shakespeare Festival celebrates the works of William Shakespeare and other classic playwrights through world-class performances. Set against the backdrop of Boulder, Colorado, the festival attracts thousands of attendees each year, making it one of the premier destinations for Shakespeare enthusiasts worldwide.
The 2024 season begins Saturday, June 8, and runs through Sunday, Aug. 11. Season tickets are available starting Oct. 30 at coloradoshakes.org, over the phone at 303-492-8008 and weekdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the CU Presents Box Office.
