Pendulum New Music is thrilled to invite you to its February concert, featuring acoustic, acousmatic and multimedia works by CU Boulder composers. The concert will also feature the ~Nois Saxophone Quartet, one of the premier new music ensembles in the country, combining contemporary classical music and improvisation in unique concert experiences.
Pendulum is a concert series and forum for the creation and performance of new and original works by CU student composers, songwriters, improvisers and collaborators. Every concert features multiple world premieres by living composers and creators. Each event is eclectic and can feature anything from acoustic chamber ensembles to immersive electroacoustic works and film scores, performed by CU’s own students as well as internationally renowned guests.
From orchestras, bands and choirs to jazz, world music and opera to world-class faculty and guest performances, the CU Boulder College of Music brings hundreds of stunning performances to Boulder audiences throughout the academic year.
