A Child's Garden of Dreams
The CU Boulder Wind Symphony welcomes you to our final performance of the year. Opening with “Adagio Para Orquesta de Instrumentos de Viento” by Joaquín Rodrigo followed by a new commission by Angélica Negrón, “Blooming Artifacts.” This piece shimmers with an ensemble of electronics and illustrates what it would be like to live inside the contemporary floral sculptures by botanical artist Sophie Parker. Our concert will conclude with a David Maslanka favorite and our program theme, "A Child’s Garden of Dreams." We cannot wait to see you in Macky Auditorium on April 20th!
