The Renova New Music Ensemble is CU Boulder’s contemporary choral ensemble dedicated to performing CU Boulder Student and Alumni composers’ vocal compositions. The Winter Composer Concert features various vocal genres, from classical to jazz and is the ensemble’s fourth-semester concert at the university.
SoundWorks (formerly Pendulum New Music) is a concert series and forum for the creation and performance of new and original works by CU Boulder College of Music composers, songwriters, improvisers and collaborators. Every concert features multiple world premieres by living composers and creators. Each event is eclectic and can feature anything from acoustic chamber ensembles to immersive electroacoustic works and film scores, performed by CU’s own students as well as internationally renowned guests.
