Join us for an unforgettable evening with the dynamic Govorov & De Groot Duo, where classical mastery meets contemporary flair. Sergei Govorov, a renowned Russian saxophonist with over 25 years of experience and performances at the Montreux Jazz Festival, partners with rising American pianist Britta De Groot, celebrated for her energetic and passionate performances. Since forming their duo in 2023, they have enchanted audiences from the Front Range to New York, using music to bridge cultures and promote peace.

On this special night, enjoy a diverse repertoire featuring Sergei Rachmaninoff’s “Vocalise,” J. S. Bach’s Sonata in G Minor, Astor Piazzolla’s “Histoire du Tango,” Takashi Yoshimatsu’s “Fuzzy Bird Sonata” and jazz classics like Paul Desmond’s “Take Five” and Juan Tizol’s “Caravan.” Don’t miss this unique celebration of cross-cultural collaboration and musical excellence. Join us for a night where tradition meets innovation, promising a memorable experience for classical enthusiasts and new listeners!
