Join the CU Boulder Thompson Latin Jazz Ensemble and Graduate Jazz Combo for an evening featuring works by Paquito D’Rivera, Carlos Henríquez, Mike Pope and more. Led by Assistant Teaching Professor of Jazz Studies Victor Mestas and Jazz Studies Lecturer Alejandro Castaño, the concert showcases student performers in a program that blends classic and contemporary styles. Special guests from Tumbao Afro-Latin Dance Company will add movement to the performance, creating a lively celebration of music and dance.
