Bass trombonist Noah Roper, a member of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and S.E. Shires Artist, presents a guest artist solo recital with Professor of Collaborative Piano Margaret McDonald. A graduate of Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, Roper has performed with leading ensembles including The Cleveland Orchestra and London Symphony. His program features bold and evocative works by Norman Bolter, Frank Gulino, Carolina Calvache and Ricardo Mollá, showcasing the expressive depth and virtuosity of the bass trombone.

Renowned CU Boulder College of Music faculty artists perform with students and colleagues in chamber music recitals featuring world premieres and beloved classics. Join us for this free series in person at Grusin Music Hall or via livestream most Tuesdays from August through March.
