Nobuntu

“...a vibrant and stunning performance full of sparkling energy.” —Sunday Times (Germany)

“Nobuntu”—an expression meaning feminine familial love, humility and kindness—is a female a cappella quartet from Zimbabwe that draws international acclaim for its breathtaking performances of traditional Zimbabwean songs, afro jazz and gospel. Nobuntuʼs concerts are performed with pure voices, minimalistic percussion, traditional instruments such as the Mbira (thumb piano) and organic, authentic dance movements.
