From Page to Stage: Performing Shakespeare
Acting class for ages 18+
"The actors are at hand, and, by their show,
You shall know all that you are like to know."
Shakespeare’s plays were written to be performed – and the best way to dig into Shakespeare’s text is to put it up on its feet and speak the language out loud. In this 8-week class, students will use acting techniques to deepen their appreciation and understanding of Shakespeare’s language, character development, and storytelling. The class culminates in a final showing for friends and family on the last day of class. Open to students of all experience levels and abilities; students from previous sessions are welcome to return. Ages 18+
Tuesdays, 6:00-8:00 pm, Sep. 25 - Nov. 13
This class will meet in Room 150 in the IBS Building at CU Boulder (1440 15th Street). Street parking in front of the building is free after 5pm.
