In this month's Music Education colloquium, Dr. Constance McKoy presents on the nature of culture and how it functions in the context of education, specifically music education. The presentation will also examine the role that culture plays in the development of teachers, in how learners construct knowledge and how understanding the impact of culture on processes can help teachers provide more effective and meaningful musical experiences.
