The CU Boulder Symphony Orchestra is delighted to showcase the program “REMember.” Opening with Reena Esmail's 2021 composition “REMember,” the piece reflects on the losses and gains experienced during the pandemic, capturing the essence of our time apart and the joy of coming together again for performances. The concert concludes with two works by iconic composers: Johannes Brahms’ magnificent First Symphony and Franz Liszt’s powerful “Totentanz” featuring Honors Competition winner and pianist Jude Dow-Hygelund.

The CU Symphony Orchestra performs a diverse repertoire, including symphonies and large-scale orchestral works by major composers, at Macky Auditorium. From orchestras, bands and choirs to jazz, world music and opera to world-class faculty and guest performances, the CU Boulder College of Music brings hundreds of stunning performances to Boulder audiences throughout the academic year.
