Grusin Music Hall (C112) is located in the Imig Music Building.

The hall seats 500 guests and hosts hundreds of performances every year by faculty, students, small ensembles and guests.

Public Transportation

Boulder residents can catch a number of local buses to campus, including the Skip, Dash, 204, 225, Hop and Stampede.

Denver metro residents can catch the Flatiron Flyer, serving the Highway 36 corridor between Denver Union Station and the CU Boulder campus.

Longmont residents can catch the Bolt into Downtown Boulder and transfer to any of the local bus routes mentioned above to reach the CU Boulder campus.

Biking

You can ride right up to the show, as all CU Presents venues have banks of outdoor bike racks nearby. Using Google Maps for directions is easy: just type in your starting point and destination and select the bicycle symbol.

Don't have your own wheels? Boulder B-cycle's easy, affordable bike-sharing system boasts 41 bike stations located around town and on the CU Boulder campus. 

Skateboarding

Skateboards are not allowed inside our venues, but you can store your board for free inside of the Muenzinger Psychology building at the corner of 18th Street and Colorado Avenue, just steps away from Grusin Music Hall. Don't forget to bring your own lock.

Ride Service

Ride services such as Lyft, Uber or Boulder Yellow Cab (now called Z-Trip) can drop you off in front of the venue.

Parking

Whether you're coming from down the street or from out of town, CU Boulder Parking and Transportation has various parking options for you. Pay for parking at the pay stations, or download the Parkmobile smartphone app for quick, easy parking reservation and payment.

Patrons with mobility disabilites should arrive via the center-west entrance to the Imig Music building. Wheelchair accessible parking spaces are available at the northeast corner of the Euclid Avenue Autopark as well as the northeast corner of above-ground Lot 204. Both lots are located across 18th Street, west of the Imig Music building.

Grusin Music Hall has three designated areas for wheelchair users. They are: Right Section, Row A, Seat 3 (one space), Left Section, Row A, Seat 3 (one space), and Center Section, Row A, seats 2 & 3, 6, 9 & 10 (five spaces), for a total of 7. The seats must be removed to accommodate wheelchairs and so advance notice (by calling 303-492-8008) is recommended. If advance notice is not possible, the stage manager or house manager will remove seats upon request.

Please note that not all seating locations may be available for sold-out performances. Wheelchairs may not be stored or occupied in the aisle, per fire regulations. Aisle seating is also available for patrons with mobility disabilities. Please call 303-492-8008 in advance of the performance for more information.

American Sign Language interpreters can be provided for patrons given at least seven business days of notice before the event. For ticketed events, please purchase your tickets online and email [email protected] to request an interpreter or call the box office at 303-492-8008 to purchase your tickets and request an interpreter. For all other events please, contact the box office at least seven business days before the event.

Service dogs allowed Service dogs

Subject to some limitations, service animals that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability may accompany patrons in all CU Presents venues.

Assistance animals (therapy animals, emotional support, or comfort animals) are generally not allowed to accompany patrons into our venues.

Please refer to the CU Boulder service animals policy for more detailed guidelines about service animals on campus.

Policies

Late seating

Late seating is at the discretion of the house manager and is not guaranteed. Please arrive well before the event start time.

Devices and personal items

Cameras, backpacks, recording devices, skateboards, large bags and firearms are generally not permitted in the auditorium during performances. Laptops, tablets, phones and other mobile devices must be switched to silent mode in the hall. All screens must be off when performers are on the stage to avoid disturbing other patrons.

Recording devices

No photography, video or sound recording of any kind is allowed during performances.

Safety

To ensure your safety in case of fire or any other emergency, please note the exit route nearest to your seat when you arrive.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the CU Boulder campus.
