Policies

Door opening times

Facilities open one hour before performances. Performance doors open approximately 30 minutes before start time.

Children

At Macky, we frequently host events that are enjoyable for families and children. Regardless of age, any child attending a performance is required to have a ticket, even if the child will be sitting in an adult’s lap. As a courtesy to the artists and other audience members, please exercise discretion in bringing children younger than 6 to a performance. Most shows last two hours, including intermission. A limited number of booster seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Devices and personal items

Cameras, backpacks, recording devices, skateboards, large bags and firearms are generally not permitted in the auditorium during performances. Laptops, tablets, phones and other mobile devices must be switched to silent mode in the hall. All screens must be off when performers are on the stage to avoid disturbing other patrons.

Food and drink

We provide concessions in the lobby for select events, offering snacks, coffee and non-alcoholic beverages starting an hour before showtime. Drinks purchased at Macky can be brought into venue. Due to the terms of our license, outside food and drink are not allowed, and alcohol purchased inside Macky cannot leave the premises under any circumstances. You are welcome to bring unopened bottled water.

Latecomer seating

As a courtesy to the artists and other audience members, latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the House Manager at an appropriate interval in the program.
