Macky Auditorium Concert Hall is a multidisciplinary venue serving the campus and the region by entertaining, educating and challenging audiences with high quality local, national and international performances and events.
A wide range of performers and speakers have graced the Macky stage throughout the years, including Eleanor Roosevelt, the Dalai Lama, Yo-Yo Ma, Jane Goodall, Robin Williams, Neil deGrasse Tyson and Bill Nye, just to name a few.
Boulder residents can catch a number of local buses to campus, including the Skip, Dash, 204, 225, Hop and Stampede. Single rides are $2.60.

Euclid AutoPark, Folsom Parking Garage or the Pennsylvania Avenue Lot are your most convenient parking options. Event parking is $4; directions to each lot can be found below.
Parking is also available along University Avenue and side streets surrounding Macky, including 13th Street, 15th Street and Grandview Avenue.
Depending on the event, additional campus parking may be available in Lot 380 just east of Macky. Parking attendants will be on site for most events at Macky and can direct patrons to this parking, if available.
Macky Auditorium strives to provide excellent service to all Macky patrons, and we take all reasonable measures to accommodate guests with disabilities.

At Macky, we frequently host events that are enjoyable for families and children. Regardless of age, any child attending a performance is required to have a ticket, even if the child will be sitting in an adult’s lap. As a courtesy to the artists and other audience members, please exercise discretion in bringing children younger than 6 to a performance. Most shows last two hours, including intermission. A limited number of booster seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
As a general rule, cameras, backpacks, recording devices, skateboards, large bags and firearms are not permitted in the auditorium during performances. Laptops, cell phones and pagers must be switched to silent mode.
Food and Drink
We are now providing new concessions in the lobby for select events, offering snacks, coffee and non-alcoholic beverages starting an hour before showtime. Please feel free to bring your drinks inside the hall (drink responsibly!). Due to the terms of our license, outside food and drink are not allowed, and alcohol purchased inside Macky cannot leave the premises under any circumstances. You are welcome to bring unopened bottled water.
As a courtesy to the artists and other audience members, latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the House Manager at an appropriate interval in the program.
