Guest artist Edwin Huizinga—renowned Canadian violinist and professor of Baroque violin at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music—joins the CU Boulder Early Music Ensemble led from the harpsichord by our Assistant Professor of Harpsichord Lillian Gordis.
The program features Johann Sebastian Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 5, a Bach cantata pastiche for alto (BWV 82 and 54) as well as orchestrations of French Baroque trio sonatas by François Couperin and Jean-Marie Leclair.
From orchestras, bands and choirs to jazz, world music and opera to world-class faculty and guest performances, the CU Boulder College of Music brings hundreds of stunning performances to Boulder audiences throughout the academic year.
