MATTHEW S. CRANE is a Colorado-based scenic designer. His past designs with CSF include The Tempest (2025), Richard II (2025), Macbeth (2024), The Merry Wives of Windsor (2024), The Winter’s Tale (2023) and One Man, Two Guvnors (2023). His recent local designs include Romeo and Juliet, Junie B. Jones and A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder (Arvada Center); Mary Poppins and Sister Act (Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center); Everybody, Medea and Into the Woods (University of Denver); Die Fledermaus, Suor Angelica and Gianni Schicci (Lamont Opera Theatre); and Furlough’s Paradise (Curious Theatre Company). He holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts.
