Frank Oden

FRANK ODEN is a multidisciplinary theater artist with a career spanning more than five decades. His recent acting appearances include Utah Shakespeare Festival, Asolo Repertory Theatre, Arvada Center Black Box Rep and Shakespeare in the Wild. He has written book, music and lyrics for eight produced musical comedies including Holly, Alaska! which premiered at Boulder Ensemble Theater in 2023. He has also toured the US and Canada performing his own “concert theater” productions—lyrical narratives for classical repertoire—as a solo guest artist with professional orchestras, most recently creating Shakespeare in Concert for the Newport Symphony in March 2026.
